Description
RFID
Radio Frequency identification, RFID, is a powerful innovation being used in warehousing, logistics, distribution, supply chain management and inventory control management. RFID improves profitability and responsiveness of organization’s entire supply chain functions.
Item-level RFID tagging is beneficial to users all along the supply chain. It leads to increased revenues and profit margins by enabling businesses to improve inventory transportation, more accurate prediction of product demand and efficient stock management.
Benefits of Item-Level Validation:
- Accurate Inventory Packing Count
With continuous and repetitive inventory counts, stock needs and misplaced items can easily be identified. Further, improved search and location capabilities for inventory management. - Enhanced Process Efficiency
Due to increased automation in the manufacturing and distribution processes, increased business productivity is achieved leading to higher profitability. - Improved In-Transit Inventory Visibility
With item level RFID tagging, businesses get accurate and real time inventory records of several warehouses. It further reduces the costs and time allocated to inventory management.
Detection of Damaged RFID Tags
iLITS detects not acceptable coding or tagging on garments to prevent future misrepresentation and misinformation of inventory count. Such as detecting damaged tags, blank tags, double tagging, incorrect encoding and dead tags.
iLITS Applications:
- Warehouse Management
- Fixed Asset Management
- Inventory Management
- Labor Movement Management
- Audit Management
- Attendance Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Quality Control
- Product Counting
Hardware Required for iLITS Desktop:
Hardware employed would include Conveyer Belt, Customized Tunnel and RFID Reader and Antennae.
- Conveyer Belt: Automatic conveyer belts according to the required length and carton traffic to be employed integrated with sensors to control inventory traffic.
- Customized Tunnel: By deploying required and specific radio frequencies, tunnel is used to limit the space and area of detecting the inventory count. Item-level validation to be achieved multiple product inventories simultaneously within the tunnel range.
- RFID Reader & Antennae: Highly sophisticated industrial-class readers to be employed to deal with heavy product traffic detecting and reading the attached RFID tags. Connected with sensors and software providing real time inventory count and traceability.
Hardware Required for iLITS Mobile:
Hardware required for iLITS Mobile Application would need Mobile device with Integrated RFID Reader.
- RFID Mobile Reader: Using Mobile RFID reader, quickly capture all RFID tags within field or a defined set range. Locate, count and verify your inventory within seconds.
